We found this piece of artwork behind the wall at the Mitchell Estate. The homeowner asked if we could incorporate the painting into a new fireplace surround.

The Artwork included some original woodwork.
The dark stained portion is the original woodwork.
Capital is the name of the piece of wood that goes around the top of the fireplace. A capital can be found on the top of columns as well.
